Cacao Gatherings

What is raw/ ceremonial cacao?

Ceremonial-grade cacao is a pure, high-quality form of cacao that is minimally processed and traditionally used for spiritual and healing practices. It can also be enjoyed in smaller amounts, making it easy to incorporate its benefits into your daily routine. Unlike commercial chocolate, which is often heavily processed and sweetened, ceremonial-grade cacao is made from raw cacao beans that retain their natural nutrients and properties. It is considered a superfood, rich in essential micronutrients like magnesium, iron, and antioxidants, among other things. Cacao also contains tryptophan, a precursor to serotonin, which supports mood regulation and emotional well-being, as well as small amounts of caffeine and theobromine, both of which contribute to its uplifting and energizing effects.

The benefits of cacao:

  • Opens the Heart: Cacao is known as the “Food of the Gods” and helps to open the heart, promoting emotional healing and deeper connections with yourself and others.
  • Increases Creativity: The gentle, uplifting energy of cacao enhances creative thinking and flow.
  • Promotes Inner Clarity: Experience heightened awareness and gain new insights into areas of your life.
  • Deep Relaxation: Cacao induces a calming effect on the body, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.
