Marta 🌙 Marluna
My name is Marta Pinto, though I also go by my artist name, Marluna. The name comes from the Spanish words el mar (the sea) and la luna (the moon). The sea reflects depth, mystery, and the subconscious, while the moon speaks to cycles, spirituality, and feminine divinity. These themes have shaped my own healing and continue to inspire both my life and my art.
I identify as a queer person and generally use they/them pronouns, but you’re welcome to use whatever pronouns resonate with how you perceive me.
I bring a rich background in creative expression and holistic healing, with qualifications in Art Therapy, Expressive Arts, and Reiki—detailed further down this page. By combining these practices, I help guide others on their healing journeys.
Through my art therapy workshops, Reiki sessions, and cacao ceremonies, I create transformative spaces where individuals can connect with their inner selves, release emotional blockages, and unlock their creative potential. My experience spans the globe, with numerous work and volunteer opportunities that have allowed me to facilitate these practices in a variety of cultural settings. Having lived in different parts of the world, I’ve been shaped by diverse perspectives—an influence that continues to enrich both my work and the way I connect with others. Fluent in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Luxembourgish, I’m able to hold space for people from many backgrounds, creating a more inclusive and supportive healing experience.

Intermedial Art Therapy
Through art therapy, I support individuals and groups in exploring emotions and experiences in a creative, safe space. With extensive academic and hands-on experience, I guide each person with a process-oriented approach that honours their unique path.
Art
Art has always been part of my life—from early days of drawing, painting, and shaping with clay. Over time, as I’ve changed, so has my way of creating. Today, I focus on colourful, intuitive pieces that reflect the shifts and stories within me.
Music
Music has also played an important role in my life as a form of self-expression. I began by singing in choirs and studying classical piano and vocal technique. Over time, I explored guitar, drums, and percussion in a more intuitive, self-taught way. These days, I enjoy blending different instruments and sounds, letting the music unfold freely and naturally. Cacao Gatherings
For several years, I’ve been guiding cacao rituals at gatherings, festivals, and private events. These spaces invite you to open your heart, connect deeply with yourself, and reflect with intention. Join me in these experiences that nurture growth and self-discovery as you explore the unique qualities of cacao.
Reiki
On this page, you’ll learn about Reiki—its origins, how it works, and the unique ways it can enhance well-being. I completed my Reiki Teacher Training Level 1 in Mexico and, after two years of self-practice, attained Level 2 in Portugal. Since then, I’ve continued to explore and work with Qi energy through ongoing practice and study.
Tarot
In addition to my other practices, I’ve completed a course in tarot reading and have been using tarot for over four years, both for myself and in guiding others. I’ve seen firsthand how beneficial it can be, offering clarity on specific topics or guidance during times of change. Tarot or oracle cards can also complement other techniques I use, if you’re open to incorporating them into your journey.
